Sew, Stitch, Snap, SHARE

Welcome to Sew, Stitch, Snap, SHARE.  Hard to believe it is November already, and I guess now the serious Christmas sewing starts for some.  There may be another Christmas decoration or two in my future, but definitely no Christmas quilts this year.

So, my sewing effort the past few days has been another Anna Maria quilt.  Well to be precise, this is going to be the backing of the quilt top I finished a couple of weeks ago.  I decided to go all out and really make a dent in my stash, meaning I will have a reversible quilt.

Probably the quickest quilt I have ever sewn, this is simply 10" squares and a border of Tula Pink fabric I had left over from backing my Liberty Bloomsbury. which can be trimmed down once it has been quilted.  I was determined to use what was in my stash rather than buying more for this quilt.

It's your turn to share now.  It doesn't matter if it's embroidery, a quilt, applique or epp, or some other stitched or sewn project.  It can be a start, a finish or just a wip.  All we ask is that you follow these guidelines when linking up:
  • Link up any post from the past week that features  a sewing or stitching project you have been working on.
  • Somewhere in your post, please link to this one.
  • Also please take the time to read and comment on some of the other linked posts, it is always nice to know that people are reading what you have written, and we are trying to encourage people to keep blogging and reading blogs.
Thanks  for joining us.

    3. You've done a very good job of that backing I'm it will make a great two sided quilt. Some of my customers make backings nearly as detailed as the fronts!

    4. How are you ever going to decide which is the top side? They are both so pretty.

    9. I like the pieced back of squares, 10" is a good size to show off the individual fabrics. Now, did you have to mention Christmas!! How how on earth is it coming up to that time of year already!
